The Academic Resources Recommender System (ARReS) includes collection of Theses and Dissertations available in the Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges Library.
Accounting, as an information system, attempts to supply numerous users with various types of valuable information. As a result, it strives to use the surrounding conditions in order to increase the quality and amount of information, as well as the delivery measurements. The study aimed to develop a system that can minimize the problem encountered in the existing system in terms of the updating and managing of accounts of students. The specific objectives of the study are to develop an online accounting system that will address the needs of the clients. Furthermore, to evaluate the significant difference on the level of acceptability between the proposed and existing system in terms of functional suitability, performance efficiency, compatibility, usability, reliability, security, maintainability and portability. The proponents used the Extreme Programming for the system development model. The respondents were accounting staff, and students of Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges. In the gathering of data, the researchers used interview and distribution of questionnaires as tools to evaluate the system features and functions based on the ISO 25010 criteria. The gathered data showed that Online Accounting System could be proposed to improve the existing system and the results of the evaluation for level of acceptability is Excellent. Therefore, the utilization of the University Integrated Information System: Development of Online Accounting System in Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges is recommended.
